  • Yes! It’s fully funded — there are no fees if you meet the eligibility criteria.

  • ✔ Aged 19 - 35 (19 years or older on August 31st of the funding year)
    ✔ Living in the West Midlands (WMCA Postcode)
    ✔ Not in full-time education or employment
    ✔ UK residents only (for a minimum of 3 years)

    (International students not eligible for funding at this time)

  • We provide access to professional equipment during the course, but having your own gear is always a bonus.

  • Yes, you’ll earn a Level 3 CPD-certified certificate upon completion of the course.

  • Yes – we offer ongoing career support including CV help, interview skills, and showcasing your portfolio. You get a guaranteed interview with one of our proud partners at the end of the course.

  • Our courses are designed for anyone looking to build creative skills from the ground up. Whether you're a complete beginner, an ambitious freelancer ready to strengthen your portfolio, an early-stage founder wanting to upskill in the digital world, or a career changer looking for a hands-on path into creative media and content creation - this course is for you. If you're passionate about making meaningful work and want to become industry-ready, you’ll fit right in.

  • All our courses are delivered in person at our creative space on Broad Street, Birmingham. You’ll learn in a collaborative studio environment, surrounded by like-minded creatives and experienced tutors.

  • Courses typically run for 2 to 3 days per week. While each course has its own structure, we ensure the schedule is manageable and designed to suit those with other part-time commitments.

  • No prior experience is needed. Our courses are beginner-friendly and built to support learners at every stage. Through hands-on sessions and one-to-one time with tutors, you’ll learn by doing - gaining confidence and practical skills from day one.

  • Yes. On successful completion of your course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Achievement from BritAsia Academy. All of our courses carry a Level 3 CPD Certification, giving your portfolio even more value.

    Note: Our Music Production course is currently being accredited for CPD certification and we expect this to be added later this year.

  • We continue to support you after your course finishes. Our team provides CV reviews, portfolio feedback, and guidance on freelancing or starting a creative business. You may also be sent job opportunities or invited to interviews through our growing network of partners.

  • Not at all. While we cover essential theory in class, a big focus is on practical, real-world learning. You’ll work on industry briefs, create portfolio-standard work, and take part in on-location shoots, studio sessions, and networking events. Our aim is to prepare you for the realities of the creative industry - inside and outside the classroom.
